Week 2: Intrams update, 1st Sem awarding, Class picture, and Sunday volunteering.

Monday:

During this day, it is just a typical Monday of mine. We need to go to school before 7:45am since our cfc starts before 8am. We arrive at the school around 7:30 all the time which makes us nervous considering that we don't want to be late for our cfc. We had a worksheet for our first subject which is statistics. I am pretty confident with my answers and hoping for a good grade since I took time during the weekend to review for it.

We recapped the lesson that we had last week for our next subject which is EAPP. After reviewing what we had just learned, we did an activity so that we may apply the topic that we discussed. Our 3rd subject teacher, Ms. Eva, told us to bring a book for us to be able to breakdown the different parts of it. The only thing that we did for our last subject, P.E., is play volleyball by the rules so that we may be able to be better and understand how the game works. 

Tuesday:

Ever since this school year started, our online classes are as long as our face-to-face classes. Today, our adviser announced that from now on, our online classes will only last for the half of the day. This adjustment actually helped everyone to have more time for themselves and rest from all the things that are simultaneously happening. To be honest, when I finished all my classes for the day, I was not used to finishing at lunchtime and have a free schedule for the rest of the day. I used my extra time to rest and do the things that I needed to accomplish. 

Wednesday:

Being a part of the club, SHS Voices, we are assigned to do special performances like singing for our chapel services and also performing in our different school events. Today, we will perform a song for our chapel service. That's why during our first subject, Basic Calculus, me and my other clubmates were excused and we went to the dome to practice for our performance later that day. The problem is that we have a worksheet for the subject. Fortunately, our teacher came up with a plan that we will just take the quiz during our last subject.

        

Going back to my seat after our performance, we were very excited because the awardees for the 1st Sem will be announced and thank goodness, I was included in the list. All of my closest friends are also awardees and we congratulated each other as our hard work for the 1st Sem finally paid off. Our adviser, Sir El, also won an award which is the best teacher. The last thing that happened for the day is that we had our class picture. Out of the billions of people here on earth, I am very grateful to God that these people are chosen by Him to be my classmates.

Thursday:

Because of being a known heavy sleeper, I was found enjoying my sleep again today. I woke up at 8:50am, shocked and panicking, because my online class starts at 8:00am. I rushed into the bathroom and prepared quickly for me to be able to look presentable for our online classes. I joined my 2nd subject at 9:05am, disappointed because I thought that I missed my first class. Luckily, I found out because of my friend that there has been a mishap about the schedule that there were no classes from 8-9am. I was saved because of this misunderstanding, and I won't be marked as absent for that subject. 

Friday:

I woke up early for the day because I needed to print a picture of mine for our subject. I arrived at the school an hour early and waited until our only subject, General Chemistry, started. After 2 hours of lecturing and doing a seatwork, we spent our 1-hour lunch time to eat at Cubao. We roamed around the mall for the remaining time until there was only 15 minutes left for our free time. When we went back to the school, we had practices for our foundation day and the club that I joined. 

The last thing that we have for the day is the 2nd day of our games in our intrams. This time, our first game was basketball. We gave our best and worked as a team to win the game and be still undefeated. Unfortunately, the opposite happened for our volleyball game. We still didn't win during this time, and I went home afterwards.

     

Saturday:

My parents raised me and my brothers to be a responsible person and that is why they taught us to help and do household chores to maintain the cleanliness of our house. Today, the task that was assigned to me is the laundry and folding of the clothes. I washed all of our clothes and took the dried ones for me to fold them and be placed in our cabinets. After doing my task, I went to the office of our business and hired a person to fix the phone that my older brother gave me. When my phone was finally fixed, I followed my mother at the mall and stayed there for the whole day with my grandmother and cousin.

Sunday:

We always wake up early every Sunday because we are volunteers in our church. My parents are assigned as usher leaders in the big church while me and my younger brother are volunteering in the kids' church. I am really delighted in helping and teaching younger ones the word of God. The thing that really stood up for me during the day is when I saw this drawing of a very young girl, a little pony, from the kids' church. She is really talented considering the fact that she is approximately just 4 or 5 years old.
